About this deal
Paper Towel Method – Place your seeds inside a folded wet paper towel (Important: use cheap brand!) It is the same product. They are small pre-formed cubes made from a stabilized, low-density foam that is designed to provide a sterile and well-draining growing medium for plants. How wet should Rapid Rooter Plugs be?
It’s recommended to soak Rapid Rooter Plugs in water for at least 10-15 minutes before use. This helps to rehydrate the plugs and prepare them for planting. Can Rapid Rooters be rehydrated? What makes these plugs truly effective is their design – each plug is filled with powerful, seed boosting micro-nutrients that plants need to germinate effectively. Once you’ve made sure the plugs are all filled with a sufficient number of seeds, transfer them into a shaded space so the seeds can sprout. Rapid rooter plugs are so famous among hydroponics enthusiasts because they make it very easy to germinate seeds and then transplant the plant into a hydroponics system. With rapid rooter plugs, you don’t get to lose out on your seeds (and time) just because there was some problem that you were not aware about.
Rapid Rooter Plugs are from a company called General Hydroponics. The plugs work by providing the balance of water to air. Which prevents rot and promotes root growth which is essential for your young seedlings starting out. Choose a healthy and mature plant that you want to clone from. Take a clean, sharp razor or scissors and make a clean, diagonal cut on a healthy stem just below a node (where leaves grow). This is where your new roots will sprout. When all of the cuttings have been added to the plugs, place the 50-cell tray under appropriate lighting and wait for the root systems to manifest.
Such mixtures contribute to healthier root networks as the nutrient uptake, and nitrogen utilization will be remarkably improved. Cover the tray with a humidity dome to execute the exact moisture for the seeds. But if the humidity dome is not available to you, switch it to saran wrap. Because saran wrap is the best alternative to hold the moisture to the seeds in the rapid rooter tray. The timing of the transplantation is important. Seeds will sprout in a matter of days, but that doesn’t mean that you can immediately transplant the new seedlings to the main hydroponics setup.
