About this deal
From birth the Quinny Moodd is compatible with the compact carrycot, which will keep your little one safe and comfortable till around 6 months old. On the frame of the Moodd, the carrycot sits quite high which we love and memory buttons make it super easy when you’re taking the carrycot off the pram. But if none of these issues are a factor – e.g. if you live in a house, on the ground floor, drive a car with a big boot, don’t have to use public transport – it’s definitely one to consider, especially as it’s so comfortable for babies and mine loved it.

The bumper bar does look stylish and little boys may feel excited (role-playing driving). However, restless toddlers will not have any support to lean on the sides. What I Wish Could Have Been Better What is nice about this Quinny stroller is that the pushbar is adjustable. The handle extends from 37” to 41” above the ground to accommodate the tallest and shortest of moms and dads. Simply press on the button in the middle of the handle bar to adjust the extension of the handle bar to your height so that you can stroll in comfort! The carrier also has rubber feet so that you can place it on the ground without dirtying the fabric. Hence, it can even serve as a stand-alone nap spot for your little one at home or outdoor, without being attached to the Moodd chassis.

The seat is padded and slightly curved round the sides which makes for a good head rest. Eliza finds it really comfortable (and the acid test; she fell asleep in it within about 10 minutes at The Baby Show) Baby is kept very comfy with a double mattress. Not only is there an included removable mattress, but the bottom of the liner is also padded. Both the mattress and liner are colour coded with a slightly lighter shade than the pushchair, so it looks great. A padded apron zips over the top to protect them from the elements. The internal liner is very soft, though you can still feel the side supports at the top and bottom through it. All of the fabrics can be removed for hand washing. The inside of the carrycot measures 74cm long and 29cm wide, so it should last until the child is around 6 months old. There's a 5-point harness on the Moodd with 3 height settings as your child grows. It's simple to adjust the length with the plastic sliders, as well as to adjust the height setting by unhooking the harness and sliding it through the seat material. It then needs connecting to the right height on the seat. The shoulder pads are nicely cushioned and feature the moodd logo on the right side. They are poppered into place which is a nice touch to prevent them from slipping up or down. Another change to the 2015 Moodd is that the harness webbing is now colour coded to match the rest of the pushchair. Aesthetically I've been dying to take a closer look. I've been a little concerned that I may have fallen for its charms because I was a little bit giddy with so many pushchairs around me at the time. However, I'm glad to report that our second date has not been disappointing and so far I still see potential. Of course, I can't make any kind of commitment until we are better acquainted but so far so good! Although the reversed deep recline position is said to be suitable for newborns, I personally would only put a baby in it after 3-4 months old because the seat is not totally flat and the design of the stroller seat is relatively open.
