About this deal
This is one of the most well-known and popular dog chew toys – it's a classic! The strong and soft rubber of the Kong Classic tends to last quite a while if properly used (don't leave it out in the sun and clean it regularly by popping it in the dishwasher). But if we don't give them appropriate and enticing things to chew on, they'll usually find one of our favorite shoes or decide that the kitchen table makes a great chew toy.
You can stuff a Kong with your dog's meal, small treats, or smearing a bit of xylitol-free peanut butter inside, providing mental enrichment and prolonged play. However, some dogs find the small opening of the Kong and the shape frustrating, as it can be hard to fully "de-stuff" it. If your dog gives up on their Kong, consider using a Toppl instead for a food-stuffed toy. While the Toppl is an easier food puzzle, it is easier to chew into pieces compared to the Kong for a determined chewer (which is why I recommend the Toppl primarily for food stuffing and not for chewing). You can buy a brush that looks like a regular toothbrush or a thimble brush that fits over your finger – and use a toothpaste or gel specifically formulated for dogs. Do not use human toothpaste as some of the ingredients may not be suitable – for example, xylitol, which is often found in human toothpaste, is toxic for dogs.
How do I pick the best dog dental chews?
Made from additive-free ingredients (each large dog bone contains naturally occurring omega-3 fatty acids, protein, calcium, iron, phosphorus, zinc, selenium, magnesium, and manganese), the chews offer an abundance of health benefits. There is no doubt that puppies are tiny bundles of enormous cuteness, but, when it comes to training, you will definitely have your hands full. From excessive barking to doing their business on your bed, trouble can sometimes seem to follow your adorable pup. Add chewing to the mix, and you’ll spend all your free time learning how to discipline a puppy and not go crazy at the same time. Do you ever wish you could clone yourself, leaving the other you to stay at home to prevent your dog from making confetti out of your couch cushions? Well, now you can do the next best thing, using a remote interactive camera.
We invite you to join the PoochChew family and experience the joy of a healthier, happier dog. Together, we can make dental care a breeze and put a smile on your dog's face. Made with human-grade ingredients, these treats are low in fat and gluten-free. They’re also vegan.

Since rawhide can be difficult to digest, you shouldn't give it to puppies aged under six-months-old. Their jaws and teeth are not likely to be strong enough and there are other health-related issues to take into account.
