IDC Whitepaper “Optimizing Performance with Frequent Server Replacements for Enterprises” commissioned by Dell Technologies and Intel, March 2021. Results are based on interviews with 18 IT practitioners and decision makers at midsize and large enterprises and a web survey of 707 IT practitioners and decision makers at midsize and larger enterprises using Dell Technologies server solutions across 7 industries. See full whitepaper: https://www.delltechnologies.com/resources/en-us/asset/white-papers/products/servers/server-infrastructure-resiliency-enterprise-whitepaper.pdfTwo things jump out from the Dell P2723QE’s specifications: resolution and connectivity. 4K resolution is not unusual at this price, but it’s still nice to see in a 27-inch monitor. This is also a USB-C hub monitor with up to 90 watts of Power Delivery and DisplayPort Alternate Mode. That’s good news if you intend to connect a USB-C laptop.
But enough with the numbers. For productivity, this display performed great. 4K resolution means I was able to fit three column-sized Microsoft Edge windows side by side by side on the panel using Windows 11’s Snap Layouts feature. It also means videos and Teams calls look crisp and clear. Intel SME Study Disclaimer: Based on a 2018 survey of small business owners in five countries. Details here intel.com.au/smestudy
