I'm no expert. This is my 3rd projector. First off I bought a Vankyo Leisure 470. Returned it like a day later because I discovered that it wasn't a true 1080p projector and that it didn't have any horizontal keystone correction. I replaced it with a Vankyo V630. This was a true 1080p projector with keystone correction so I was happier though the fan noise was far from impressive. I ended up replacing it with the PJ40. It has been way better then the V630. Things I like the most: To enable it, select the low latency option using the Picture menu (press the menu icon while streaming HDMI content). Unfortunately, you must disable keystone correction. Toggle it off, then reset settings to default in the same menu to enter low latency mode. To enjoy games, try positioning NexiGo PJ40 in such a way, that it doesn’t require any keystone corrections.

At the smaller size, I still saw a slight tendency for some bright scenes with light colors to look a touch overexposed. But most colors were nicely saturated, contrast was much improved, bright scenes looked much more three-dimensional, and as already mentioned, the smaller size and higher contrast also delivered a crisper image. Hues at both sizes were off target, but no more so than typical for projectors in this class. And very much on the plus side, I didn't see any obvious color bias.
