About this deal

The cable sports a y-splitter and chin slider with a fancy shape, which are made from the same metal material like the connector housing.

Sub-bass is done well and it is quite enjoyable - the texture is decent and the IEMs offer the rumble, where needed. Upper mids and treble extension are excellent. While I missed the airiness in some songs on the Dusk, Timeless was able to handle them much better than the Dusk. The treble itself, on the Timeless, can sound a bit artificial at times, but that is something that I did not notice often.To house the large 14.2mm planar magnetic driver, the 7Hz Timeless needs large shells. What 7Hz ended up with is a large disc-shaped shell with a flat faceplate. The faceplates are roughly the size of a penny and are covered with closely-knit concentric circles, much like a vinyl record. The Moondrop Kato is another competitive offering in the same price range as the Timeless and, from what I have heard from others, Kato is a better, well-rounded offering. While I wouldn't be going for the Kato (nothing new from the entry level offerings I have), it is something that you should consider before going for the Timeless. the imaging is a little fuzzy but I don't listen to much music where instrument direction really matters my go-to is listening to music by joe Hisaishi for imaging

The Timeless is an odd shaped IEM. While fit was fine for my large ears, comfort on longer sessions were strictly average - the Antitragus of the ear gets uncomfortable after a while.You might be surprised to know that the Timeless is easy to drive: even a smartphone will do a pretty good job with it. But this IEM responds well to some extra power and a better source, so don’t be afraid to feed it with a good DAC or amp and bump up the volume a bit.

The 7Hz Timeless AE is a brand new special edition of the Original Timeless and has been designed in collaboration with “AngelEars”. The Timeless AE comes with the same 14.2mm diameter Planar Magnetic Driver that has been used inside the OG Timeless, while it is tuned to produce a 3dB boost in the lows along with some improvements in terms of Treble and Midrange response. The Timeless AE follows the same monitor design of the OG Timeless that is made from 5-Axis CNC machined aluminum material, while it has a different color, which is now in Blue.The first item that pops out is not the iem, but the solid aluminium chunk of a box. It is shiny, it is heavy, and it assures protection like no other. Honestly, the box alone should cost a premium. The fancy looking rectangular box of the 7HZ Timeless AE comes with the following contents/accessories;
